The checker reads the file on your device and groups the signals it finds. It does not alter the content or claim to prove that an image was generated by AI.

Clean Meitu files without changing pixels
For JPG, PNG and WebP, the cleaner copies the compressed image payload and removes only selected metadata segments or chunks. It does not use canvas, resize the image or introduce another lossy JPEG encode.
HEIC-to-JPG is the explicit exception because format conversion requires decoding and encoding. Keep the untouched Meitu export whenever provenance or authorship records may matter.
