Clean Lightroom files without changing pixels
For JPG, PNG and WebP, the cleaner copies the compressed image payload and removes only selected metadata segments or chunks. It does not use canvas, resize the image or introduce another lossy JPEG encode.
HEIC-to-JPG is the explicit exception because format conversion requires decoding and encoding. Keep the untouched Lightroom export whenever provenance or authorship records may matter.

JPG, PNG and WebP use metadata-only processing. HEIC/HEIF is converted to a clean JPG.
Why should I inspect before removing metadata?
