Why inspect an image before uploading to Pinterest?
Images prepared for Pins, Idea Pins and board cover images often pass through several apps. Each export can add EXIF, XMP, IPTC or Content Credentials, so inspect the exact final file to understand what will be shared.

It cannot alter a file already stored by the platform. Prepare a clean copy and upload it again when appropriate.
Will the pixels change?
For JPG, PNG and WebP, the cleaner rewrites metadata containers without decoding or re-encoding compressed pixels. HEIC-to-JPG is the conversion exception.
Is a no-label result guaranteed?
No. The tool removes readable file metadata; the platform may use additional signals.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to our server.
Should I clean an image before or after editing it for Pinterest?
Finish editing and export the final asset first, then inspect and clean the exact file you will upload.
How are C2PA, XMP and EXIF different?
C2PA carries provenance, XMP carries extensible editor data, and EXIF commonly stores camera, time or GPS information.
